AVC 2D controls and maintains a system’s sound level at a specified maximum limit. If the incoming signal is below the specified threshold, AVC 2D remains idle. If the average program level exceeds the specified limit, AVC 2D will reduce its gain to keep the output level at the specified maximum limit.
